Gateway Tokenization
HostedPCI isn’t a gateway on its own, we are a third-party proxy that connects with many different gateways. This feature assists our merchants with reducing their scope while remaining with the gateway of their choice.
“HostedPCI is one of the few companies that offer the ability to receive a gateway token.”
We at HostedPCI understand that not all merchants can change their payment processes to allow for independent tokenization solutions. HostedPCI is one of the few companies that offer the ability to receive a gateway token. The collection of the credit card will remain the same either through the iFrame or the IVR, however, instead of processing a payment request the Merchant can send and get a gateway token request through the HostedPCI API to retrieve the token required for processing directly through your Gateway.
The HostedPCI iFrame offers a variety of features that can be used by the merchant and the customer including the auto-population of the credit card that is saved within the browser by a consumer. There are also a variety of styling options within the iframe which includes, masking the 8 middle digits on a blur event as well as, auto-selection of the card type, field highlighting, and more. For more variations of our iFrame please visit our documentation page.
There is no additional charge for having multiple gateways connected within a single vault and HostedPCI does not put any amount restriction either
